Recommendation by the Community and Economic Development Department: 

Resolution of Intention to amend Fullerton Municipal Code to allow commercial cannabis businesses and agreement with HdL not to exceed $45,000 to prepare final draft regulatory ordinance and policy and process components.

1. Adopt Resolution No. 2019-XX.  

RESOLUTION NO. 2019-XX - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CONSIDER AMENDMENTS TO TITLE 15 OF THE FULLERTON MUNICIPAL CODE TO AMEND PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO COMMERCIAL CANNABIS 

2. Authorize City Manager to enter into professional services agreement not to exceed $45,000 with HdL, in a form approved by the City Attorney.  


NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Fullerton does hereby resolve as follows:  

1. That the City Council declares its intention to consider amendments to Title 15 of Fullerton Municipal Code provisions applicable to commercial cannabis.  

2. That there is no possibility that the Resolution of Intention in and of itself will have a significant effect on the environment and therefore this action is not subject to CEQA.
